For today’s visual prompt, I chose this monster in the basement

micro-story : Her brother’s experiments in the basement had been getting out of hand. The spooky vines and growls could no longer be ignored. After not seeing her brother for two days, she sneaked down the steps. The door flew open. A snarling beast said, “Good Morning.” It sounded just like her brother before he stole her pancakes.
