Quadrille Monday

Mish’s prompt for today’s Quadrille (a poem of exactly 44 words) at dVerse Poets Pub is “Blaze.” I had so much fun using magnetic poetry for this last time, I thought I’d try it again. I used the Original Edition(assoc link), but stole the word “zeal” from the Genius kit(assoc link). Here’s what I came up with:

We Blaze Between the Rain Storms

  1. Oh, I love the magnetic poetry! I have a set too, but never thought to use it for blogging. I like that you included eating the peach. Is that a nod to Eliot, or have I just taken too many lit classes? Either way, I really enjoyed your piece.

  2. Nice use of the word parcels. Too bad the word “blaze” wasn’t in there. Works okay though, in the title. I have a set of those word bits given to me but I don’t know right now where they are. All will come out in the downsizing, when we haven’t decided yet.
